Children from poverty have unique learning, social and behavioral differences. We know the human brain is just as vulnerable to negative factors as it is receptive to positive factors; therefore, the environmental and sometimes traumatic factors for children of poverty greatly affect how these children react to the world. Come and gain some valuable concrete ways to help your students living in poverty. This training will be held on September 30, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the ROE #3 Professional Development Center in Vandalia, IL. The cost to attend this training is $100/participant and lunch will be provided. Each participant will receive 5.5 PD hours upon completion of the training.
