What you Should Know About Sexting discusses the widespread phenomenon of taking and sending explicit images. It defines "sexting" and offers data on its prevalence among differing age groups and defines "child pornography." Revenge porn is discussed and suggestions are offered for avoiding these issues and to stay safe from its effects. A Teen's Online Image & Their Future addresses the power of a positive online image. The importance of maintaining a reputable digital footprint for safety as well as future opportunities is covered. Participant are encourages to review online accounts through the lens of a review board for future goals. This 2 hour online training will be held on October 14, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The cost to attend this training is $25/participant.  Each participant will receive 2.0 PD hours upon completion of the training.
