Keeping it Classy: Maintaining a Professional Virtual Presence and Commonly Used Apps

Keeping it Classy will discuss the importance of one's "digital footprint," with an emphasis on teachers and professionals whose roles influence and impact children and the community. Topics discussed will include privacy settings, curating photos, and other suggestions pertaining to cleaning up one's virtual presence, both personally and professionally.  We will also discuss appropriate online interaction with students and colleagues, as well as examples of misconduct and consequences. In addition Commonly Used Apps will discuss the apps that adults and teens share a common interest in. These include Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook Messenger and YouTube. This session will highlight the functionality of each and provide resources to learn more. This 2 hour online training will be held on October 28, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The cost to attend this training is $25/participant.  Each participant will receive 2.0 PD hours upon completion of the training.
