The interactive workshop will focus on remote learning and EL students. The day is structured in segments that will help to cover many of the common questions. The day will begin with an introduction to looking at remote learning through the equity lens including some “must do’s” and some things to consider. One such segment will speak about the provisional screener, WIDA/MODEL screeners, ISBE funding, deadlines. Another segment of the day will include strategies and lessons for EL students. Time will also be set aside for questions from specific districts and schools about local programs.

A meeting link will be sent out prior to the training. The cost to attend this training is $100/participant and 5.5 PD hours will be provided upon completion of the training.
