Visual Phonics is a system of unique hand cues and written symbols that represent the sounds of English. Included are the sounds commonly referred to as vowels, consonants, diphthongs and digraphs. It is somewhat of a simplified, visual, kinesthetic version of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). Originally developed by a mom of Deaf kids, the program is a cost-effective supplement to the current curriculum. Be able to walk out of the training and use what you learn in the classroom the very next day. The cost to attend this training is $100/participant. Each participant will receive 3.0 PD hours or CEUs will be available.
